About Us
Our passion for the iconic VW California, which is a modern-day version of the beloved VW Kombi, is at the heart of what led us to start our campervan rental business. We’ve always had a love for the open road and the freedom that comes with exploring new places. The Sunshine Coast, with its stunning beaches, lush hinterland, and perfect climate, seemed like the ideal backdrop for sharing this passion with others.
Adventure
Our journey into campervan rentals began when we realized how much we enjoyed road trips in the VW California. The camper’s blend of modern comfort and nostalgic charm sparked the idea to share this experience with others. We saw a growing interest in van life and outdoor adventure, and with the Sunshine Coast offering some of the best destinations in Australia, we decided to launch Cloud 9 Campervans.
Since starting, our goal has been to provide people with the opportunity to explore the best of what the Sunshine Coast has to offer in a stylish, reliable, and comfortable campervan. Whether it’s a weekend escape or a longer adventure, we want others to experience the same love for freedom and adventure that inspired us.
